Always, always, always, bring focus to the feeling of an experience before the experience has passed. Throughout history, humans have often given more attention to their thoughts and actions while ignoring their feelings. This habit has led to a historical focus on the mind and body, while neglecting the soul.
Your soul is part of something greater, the Soul.
As sure as you can prove that you have a soul you can also prove that you do not. Neither can be proven. At least they can’t be proven either way when you involve only your mind. When we rely solely on our thoughts to seek answers, we usually find answers that are already ingrained in our minds. However, when you add the body and the soul to the source of the answer, then you get the answer that is naturally you, not the normally you that you are used to getting by involving only your mind.
When you face significant decisions, turn to your soul rather than your mind. Your soul can guide you to make choices aligned with your life plan. The soul is a source of divine wisdom and seeking this guidance can lead to better decisions. This contrasts the soul’s wisdom with decisions made solely by the mind, which are based on one’s previous mental conditioning.
Our soul is that most important part of who we are. It is intangible, beyond our senses, and not completely knowable. Yet, it significantly influences every experience we encounter. It’s time we quit treating our soul as the least important part of who we are.
To become one with God, you only need to change your mind. Changing your body or soul is neither necessary nor possible, as they are already inseparably connected to God. You are already a powerful attraction, of love, joy, harmony, peace, unity and oneness. Your soul attracts these naturally as that is what the soul is. It is in the very nature of the soul and you cannot change the nature of the soul. Your body also attracts these, naturally, as God is in your body.
Changing your beliefs about God’s presence in your body is only a mental shift, and it is you who creates this change in your mind. You may attempt to convince yourself that God is not in you but that will only create a change in your mind and not in your body. And notice, really notice, that you created that change in your mind. You created the change; therefore, you are a creator.
