Humans today have access to an immensely vast volume of information on the worldwide web. One could Google for years and not encounter all the information online. Humans placed that information on the Internet. That stored information resides on computers around the world and today we even have software referred to as artificial intelligence (AI) to help us find just the right information we are asking for.
Ask Google or AI and you shall receive. Sound familiar? A significant distinction between seeking answers from Google and AI versus seeking answers from God is that when we ask God, we consistently receive truthful answers. The accuracy of the data provided by Google and AI depends solely on the honesty of the individuals who share information on the internet.
Every piece of knowledge we possess was once a part of someone’s thought. Our thoughts, as well as the Mind, play a role in shaping our understanding of the world.
All the knowledge known to humanity today originated from someone’s thoughts. This means that before any piece of information becomes part of a person’s thought, it has to be obtained from their mind or the Mind.
Information can come from two sources – an individual’s own mind or the Mind. In other words, some knowledge is generated from an individual’s personal experiences and thoughts, while other information is drawn from the broader Mind.
All information ultimately comes from the collective Mind because an individual’s mind is inherently connected to this larger Mind. Much of the information humans acquire comes through their senses – what they hear, see, smell, taste, etc. This sensory information is also stored in their individual minds.
Thoughts exist before they are experienced by individuals. Thoughts can seemingly arise spontaneously, becoming part of a person’s current experience and are subsequently stored in their mind.
When people say they receive information “out of the blue,” they are, in fact, correct. God says that when we say we receive information out of the blue we are right on, in that out of the blue is exactly where it is coming from. It is stored out there, in the air around us, beyond the air around us, in the blue and likely beyond the blue. We see the blue sky where the information is coming from. It is where the mind is. It surrounds us.
Even once you realize that the Mind is ‘out in the blue’ you cannot see the Mind. Nor can you see the minds that are also part of the Mind. Even all experiences, including all of the members of every experience, are stored in the Mind and that also is not visible to humans.
The Mind is where thoughts are stored, and it is referred to as the “Mind of God.” Thoughts are things with energy, and the Mind is seen as the repository for these thoughts.
Brilliant ideas come to us in this way. Our desires have energy and when we place enough energy into our experiences, we start attracting like energy to us. In many cases, a brilliant new idea is received by someone who is asking and receiving. When a person receives a brilliant new idea, that person becomes excited, happy, etc. This normally results in an experience with feelings closer to love than to fear. Those experiences, once stored in the mind, therefore attract more experiences of love.
Receiving thoughts out of the blue is receiving thoughts from the Mind, thoughts that God put there when God created thoughts. But God did not create all thoughts when God created the Mind. God left room for mankind to create more thoughts. As man creates more thoughts and does so with God inside every cell of the body, man is co-creating those thoughts with God. It is therefore, even after this co-creation, correct to say that God created everything. It is also correct to say that man is also doing some creating. God is co-creating with man. Man is co-creating with God. God is experiencing creation through man which is why God created man in the first place.
