Storing Experiences

Revised: Nov 23, 2023

We now explore the multifaceted role of the mind, highlighting its capacity to store not only thoughts but also experiences.  Experiences are composed of various components or members, including feelings, bodily reactions to those feelings (like goosebumps), thoughts, bodily reactions to thoughts (like smiling), sensory information (sounds, tastes, smells, etc.), and things not yet known.  The mind is actively converting these members into energy that it can work with.

With each experience that we experience in our body, our brain is busy converting the members of that experience into energy that the mind can work with.  It’s vitally important that every bit of energy in our mind works harmoniously with all the energy already in our mind.  That energy must work harmoniously in our mind as well as in the Mind.

The brain plays a crucial role in converting the various members of an experience into energy that the mind can work with.  It is essential that this energy harmonizes with the existing energy in the mind and the larger Mind.  The individuated mind and the brain are not the same but operate in harmony, unity, and oneness.

Think of your mind as being full of radio waves.  We can’t see or feel radio waves but they are all around us.  These waves can travel through us without our awareness and are then converted into audible sounds by radios.

Radio waves are energy in a form we cannot see, touch, hear, smell or taste.  Yet when a radio receives the radio waves, it converts it into sounds we can hear.  With radio waves, mankind emulated nature.

Radio waves, which are invisible but transmit information, are like the energies within the mind. These energies can have different attributes, such as wavelengths, oscillations, and vibrations.  Feelings color experiences and contribute to the beauty of the mind, similar to the beauty of a rainbow.

Thoughts, feelings, and experiences are stored in different ways, with varying attributes, much like the diverse characteristics of radio waves.

Individuals do not have control over whether an experience is placed into their minds, but they have control over what each experience contains before it is stored in the mind.

During an experience, there is a brief window of time in which one can alter what that experience contains, but once experienced, all experiences are permanently stored in the mind.  This highlights the significance of conscious choice and the power of shaping one’s experiences through thought and feeling.

This sheds light on the intricate workings of the human mind and its role in processing, storing, and harmonizing different aspects of our experiences, ultimately contributing to the richness and complexity of our lives.
